Deo is currently a volunteer. He is a former Youth Leader for 2022 at SAU, a position in which he used to build his capacity in advocacy and leadership through training Youth with Disabilities in life skills and informing them of their own rights. Deo graduates in procurement and logistics management at Kyambogo Universty in 2019. He has also worked as a Junior Associate (small and medium business analyst) at Youth to Work programme at Challenges Uganda and Peer Educator for Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights at Reach A Hand Uganda. Through he is Deaf. Deo believes that his disability is useless and is committed to becoming an advocate for disability inclusion. One of his interests is going for further education. His advice for the youth with Disabilities “Please go to school and concentrate on your studies” and advice for the parents/guardians of Children with Disabilities “Please forget the child’s disability and take him or her to school”
